Needlepoint, Print, Can't, Picture, Shop, Pain, image, canvas, onto


Question by Allice: How can I get an image onto a 18 pt needlepoint canvas if I can't pain? Can I print shop print a picture on?

I want to give my mother a personalized needlepoint canvas for christmas, but I can't paint, and I don't have enough money to hire an artist. If I have a computer file with the image I want, do you think a print-shop (like Xerox) could somehow print it onto a canvas? Do you have any other ideas? Thank you very much!

Does the shop have a Xerox Phaser 800? If so, that one can print on anything, including sandpaper. Otherwise, I'd suggest transfer paper.
The pros at the print shop should be able to advise you of the best ways to handle this with the technology they have.
