Which museums in Norway have the most foreign visitors?

Question by Emile D: Which museums in Norway have the most foreign visitors?

I am planning a scientific research on art museums in Norway. The study is researching if difference in cultural background effects the extend to which people are satisfied with the experience of the museum. Can some people tell me which museums in Norway (especially near Kristiansand, since that will be my base) have the most foreign visitors?

I can only speak from experience, but the Gokstad Museet is brilliant, particularly if you're into history and medieval art.

Some of the stavkirker also are really worth visiting in my opinion.

Surely, these both get lots of foreign visitors.
