if you really look at it there's no other sport i can think of were coaching comes more into play than football.

Coaching is very important in baseball as well, especially depending on what leel of sports we're discussing. NFL football would be the likely favorite for most importance of coaching. So I'd say you're probably right on this one.The coach is involved on every single play, which is almost unprecedented.
