What would be some of my responsibilites and daily tasks if I were to attain an associate in applied science-- architecture technology degree? How much could I expect to earn with this degree straight out of college?

I've done work experience at an architects office, and the architectural technologists did lots of the same things as the architects themselves. The only difference is that they didn't actually design the buildings, they were more involved in the scientific side of things, almost like structural engineers.
